The Endowment Office: is an independent shared investment office established in 1999 that provides the same support and investment skills large foundations and endowments get from their in-house staff.

Study after study shows that large funds with investment offices consistently have better returns than other funds. Why should these other funds be expected to manage any differently? We are the investment office for these other funds.

The Endowment Office is the investment office – cooperatively shared - for those other funds. Our mission is to provide superior investment returns at acceptable risks to our office members.

The Shared Investment Office model is very intense model, which means that only a very limited number of groups can share an office. We limit the number of clients that we work with because we work closely not only with the Board to plan and execute a uniquely designed portfolio; but we also work very closely with the CFO and Treasurer to implement any short term considerations, controls or audit support.

We are a full-service investment office that stays tightly integrated with the investment committees and finance teams for each of our clients. We provide the due diligence, structure and framework through which trustees can establish a set of goals and a strategy to reach those goals with a high probability of success. We then execute an investment program across all asset classes through third party investments and investment managers with an asset allocation that is uniquely designed to assure success in reaching those particular goals. We are responsible, accountable and most importantly an advocate for the fund.

The Endowment Office provides the same advantage to the organization as in-house staff; because it is in-house staff – just shared.
